Some people find Eeyore’s gloomy outlook charming. Others prefer the bouncy enthusiasm of Tigger. Who would you rather be trapped in an elevator with: Eeyore or Tigger?

My love, you're gone now. Physically gone.
But for me, you're still here in spirit. You were with me at the park Tuesday, the day that marked one week since your death. You've been with me almost every night since that Tuesday two weeks ago, talking to me in my dreams, getting me up in the mornings to make it to class on time.

Heather, love, you've been trying to tell me something very important for the past few nights. Finally, last night i understood what you were trying to tell me. You left us all a gift when you went to Heaven. And last night I finally discovered a part of the gift that you left me. The gift of love.

You showed me people that I hadn't seen in years, hadn't talked to in a long time. People that you didn't kno. And yet, you made me see that these were people I needed to hold on to, that I couldn't let go. And for that I thank you, love. Thank you for showing me that I needed to love, not just my family and you, but everyone else I hold dear.

Love, you truly were one of a kind. I'm glad that you were a part of my life, and that I was blessed with your smile and kind heart. I love you, and always will. But you showed me that is not enough. And I thank you for that, too.

Please continue to watch over us, love.
You left us, but just don't abandon us, k?
I love you <3

Writer's Block: Personal Holidays

  • Oct. 8th, 2008 at 12:28 PM

These days, there's a holiday for everything from punctuation to pie. If you could create your own holiday, what would it be and how would you celebrate?

I would celebrate Heather Day.
Well, in a way its officially a holiday for those of us who knew her.
September 30 will always be Heather Day for us.
The way we celebrate it is by doing random acts of kindness, helping others without second thought to what we might or might not get out of it. =]

I'm Excited! =D

Ok, so I just started working on a story.
It was just this reandom thing i started working on Monday morning while sitting in math lab.
The story's just got me really excited 'cause it's coming along pretty well XD
I'm half way through the first chapter, and its really coming along =D
How exciting!!! XD

I'm so tired. . . =/

I never seem to be able to get enough sleep these days.
& I don't kno why that could be. I go to bed early, never after 11pm.
Many would say that's still early, but hey, i'm still not getting good sleep.
I sleep through the night, and wake up feeling like i just took a five minute nap.
Its extremely frustrating. I usually get home from skul before lunch, and immediately
go take a nap. Then on Fridays I sleep in as late as i can, since i have no class.
Usually i don't get to sleep in past 10am, but that's because my mom takes care of little kids, and i like to play with them. But still. . . Its so frustrating >=[
I wish i could find a way to get more sleep. . . =[

Hurrican Ike

  • Sep. 12th, 2008 at 10:14 PM

Well, I live in San Antonio, Texas. But I do have family in Houston.
Its a little worrying that they won't leave.
They're set on staying, and it worries me what may happen to them during this storm.
I really hope they come out alright from all of this. Or that they had the good sense to get up and leave last minute. I wouldn't want anything to happen to them. Already early this afternoon water levels in parts of Galveston & Houston were 3'-4' under water. And the hurricane hadn't even come close to touching land. This is really scary, mostly for anyone living along the cost that decided not to evacuate. I hope that everything turns out alright, in the end. Hopefully the only things that will be damaged will be the buildings, and not the people.

A little scary =[

So, I start skul on the 25th. I'm not too thrilled by it, not that I hate skul or anything.
Its just I'm starting college, and that's very scary for me.
I'm the eldest, and the first to attend college. That's not counting my older cousins, but they live in Cali and I in SA, TX.
That doesn't exactly make it easy to communicate. Sure, there's Myspace, texting, the phone. But its not the same as knowing they live only half an hour away. Knowing I could see them any time of day and ask them questions.
This is going to be frustrating, big time. But I will have the support of my family, and best of all God.
It'll still be scary starting off, but hopefully it'll get better in time.
